hello everybody. at first i have to apologize. i am totally unexperienced with vDos and in need to solve a huge issue with one of our clients. they use a dos application which runs under vDos- Version unknown - in case someone can assist me to determine which version they are using, it would be greatly appreciated. Randomly they receive this error message while using their application. i already set the XMEM on 30 XMS but now I am on a point where i am running out of ideas. anybody out there who can help me on this? Many thanks in advance

Click the vDos window system menu, there should an About… item, or go to the properties of vDos.exe – Details. It’s certainly not the latest vDos version. So first install that (mind to backup the config.txt and autoexec.txt files), and see if the Page Fault errors are fixed.

thank you Jos for your quick response. in Ordner to update i need to download the new version and then just run the installer after backing up the autoexec and config file?
