I have been using Framework IV for years, I like it very much, especially spreadsheet is much better than MS Excel.
FW is running well under Dosbox basic, under Dosbox SVN Daum, but these all emulators do not support printing from FW. When I'm trying to run from vDos, I get this message: "Unable to find FW3554L1.res... Is System disk 1 in Drive A:?". Of course, this file exists in FW directory. Any solution? Best regards.

Start vDos with the /log option (...vDos.exe /log). After closing Framework, look for FW3554L1.res entries in the generated vDos.log file.

Here is log file:
I suppose this old piece of software needs floppy drive -physical or virtual - to work, first trying to read from floppy and in second step pass to hard drive. And now, I can understand, why works under Dosbox and Daum, both have virtual floppy drive.

Something else seems to be off: An “Invalid path reference” entry should indicate the DOS program is referencing a DOS path that can’t be translated to a Windows path. For instance drive F: while not such drive is defined in autoexec.txt. The entry would then be “Invalid path reference: F:\<path to file>. Not garbage like in your log file. Eventually submit a copy of the program to look at.

I submit a copy of program. It is divided into two files FW1.7zip and FW2.7zip. I hope, it helps.
Thanks for your precious time.
EDIT: Zip files with program removed

Run EATMEM 26 before starting FW, and see what that brings. Doesn’t make much sense having to waste 26KB of memory for FW to run… Jos Attachments:EATMEM.COM (239 B)
