If your program actually requires DOSX to be loaded, it ends for vDos. You could then try the NTVDMx64 suggestion, DOSBox of one of its mods. Jos Does VDOS not emulate the function of dosx? I really cant see why this is the hitch of the entire solution.

vDos doesn’t emulate all the hardware of an actual PC, a real lot is just not present.
That essentially poses no problems to productive programs. But those that go deep into the hardware, like games, benchmark programs or DOS extenders (DOSx) mostly choke on the missing hardware.

Maybe a new update in the future!

Sorry, but no. vDos focus is exclusively on serious/productive end-user programs. If that brings upon a specific program isn’t supported: Bad luck, cannot be helped. Though I still have my doubts about DOSx. Apart from the program could be updated (mangled) to a point it will only run under NTVDM. Or perhaps DOSBox or one of its mods? BTW, Edward Mendelson has a webpage with ‘user’ information to NTVDMx64: www.columbia.edu/~em36/ntvdmx64.html. Jos
