Hello
I use the MFOXplus application where all programs and databases are stored on the server
During this time we use the application together by using Windos Millennium without problems
now we try using vdos on windows 7, but the application cannot be opened together and there is a message "cannot creat program workspace"
can anyone help this problem
regards

My guess would be that your program relies on some directory path that doesn’t exist in vDos. Start vDos with the log option ("…vDos.exe" /log), after running your program, open the generated vDos.log file and look for error messages with invalid paths. Eventually post the vDos.log file.

Jos thank you Jos but I did not find the vDos.log file I have tried using two computers simultaneously, one uses Windows Millennium and the other uses Windows 7, it can run normally without problems regards

If you started vDos with the /log option, vDos.log is created in the same directory as autoexec.txt and config.txt. The program runs on Windows Millennium and 7, but not on both Windows 7?

Jos I try to read in the vdos.log file but there is no error information If all use Windows 7 only the first computer can run normally, while the next computer cannot run and there is information "cannot creat program workspace" regards additional information computers that use Windows Millennium, run Foxplus applications without VDOS because they still support DOS

Probably the Windows 7 PC’s will try to create some temporary file in the same directory with the same name, and of course only the first one will succeed. The Millennium PC’s don’t have this issue because they use either a different directory or file name. Will be due to how FoxPlus is started, or a DOS environment setting. Without at least the vDos.log file of the second PC that fails to create that temporary file, it ends for me.
Get in contact with someone who’s knowledgeable and can have a look on location (the Millennium PC’s can’t be accessed remotely for reference).
