Hi,
I have a program that starts using a PIF file. Is it possible to start such a file with vDOS?
Thanks in advance,
Laura

No, you have to start the executable the PIF is referring to in vDos (autoexec.txt).

One small detail, which may be irrelevant here, but is worth saying anyway:
If the program needs to "Start in" a separate directory from its own directory, then you will need to make that directory accessible in vDos, and then add lines like these to autoexec.tst
cd /folder/program/wantsTo/startIn /path/to/the/Program.exe And of course the paths should be the paths visible in vDos, which probably won't be the same as the Windows paths. You may need to experiment with the USE command in vDos.
