Although far from elegant or optimal, try the following: Replace the contents of the autoexec.txt file by this single line:
USE C: C:\
Start vDos, you’ll get the C:\> DOS prompt. Do a CD directory_of_yardi <Enter>, followed by the command to start Yardi. PM was mentioned, but I don’t know if that also applies to your situation. If it does work, add the manually entered commands (CD directory_of_yardi, …) to autoexec.txt and save it. Start vDos once more for a final test, then add a last EXIT line to autoexec.txt to let vDos close its window as Yardi is ended.

If you could submit a directory listing of your C: drive and the Yardi directory…

Clear the autoexec.txt contents, and put these lines in there:
USE C: C:\ USE Z: \\192.168.1.5\qbooks Z: CD YPM93J PM.BAT
Save autoexec.txt and start vDos.

To close the vDos window as QuickBooks ends, change the last line of autoexec.bat ("PM.BAT") to:
CALL PM.BAT EXIT

I doubt anyone will know what that message implies. Could be some file is by now simply too big for PM to digest. Or something is wrong with that file. What file at all, it isn’t specified by that message...
If you want me to have a look at this, I would need all needed (by you) to start PM in vDos and reproduce this error.
