Hi I seem to have my DOS program working within VDOS, however when I exit the program it restarts again, the only way I can stop it is by restarting the computer. also whilst its running the windows hourglass is continuously working like its trying to restart the program over and over. Ive been through the DOS commands and I cant see anything that will stop this happening.
At the moment my autoexec file reads as follows.
c:\vDos
call c:\QA4\QA1
EXIT
Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

You let vDos start another copy of itself: The c:\vdos in autoexec.txt. So you get in an endless loop, somewhat like a batch file calling itself. Get rid of the c:\vDos line. I assume QA1 isn’t referring to a batch file, so also loose the call prefix, it’s meaningless.
