I just installed vDOS in order to use Neopaint for Dos. It appears that I can access the program but the program requires a mouse. Currently, I have an USB mouse connected which works in Windows. Do I have to install driver software and where do I find that?

You have to enable the DOS mouse in config.txt. You would however probably be better off with DOSBox, supporting higher graphic resolutions. Best of course, switch to a Windows paint program.

Thanks for your reply. However, being only slightly computer literate, how would I enable the mouse in config.txt?

In config.txt is: rem Mouse = ON But in vDos there comes some output when the the right mouse is clicked. You can see this even after the promt in the DEMO from vDos.
How can the right mouse totaly disabled?

Win+Ctrl+right mouse click pastes the Windows Clipboard text. Without MOUSE=ON, just the right mouse click will also do. The mouse isn’t used by the DOS app so there will be no conflict.
So if you don’t want the right mouse click to paste text, don’t click it inside the vDos window. Or remove the rem in rem MOUSE = ON.
