rem LPT1 = DUMMY is not working

I am trying to automate a process of printing some date and then save the data extracted from generated lpt1.txt file to a sql database.

I have tried couple of things such LPT1 =  DUMMY, LP1 = CLIP and all other combinations of COM and LPT but I can seem to stop the windows printer dialog box from popping up. Any help would be great. I have attached the asc, txt and config files. Am I missing something obvious.

I also tried pcl6 but that just opens up the pdf reader automatically.

Lines starting with REM are skipped.
So "rem LPT1 = DUMMY" should be "LPT1 = DUMMY" for vDos to parse it.

Thanks man.It works now. Can't believe I overlooked something that simple.
