I am changing over from using legacy SBT app with Windows 7 and printing via DosPrn to using vDos with Windows 10. I got everything to work but am getting extra characters on printed documents. With DosPrn I had this fixed by getting some "Epson Fix" from the author. I prefer not to introduce DosPrn again as the less simulation / emulation the less chances for errors.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Could you submit the printer .asc file in the vDos directory, so I can replicate those extra characters.

Jos, Thank you for replying in PM to add the "RAW" option. I am currently already using line as below. How can add another argument of RAW ? I need these in order to get the margins correct.
LPT1 = SEL:"Brother MFC-9130CW" horz:5,5,100 LPT2 = SEL:"HP LaserJet M402n (FEE348)" horz:10,100,80
Also, based on other posts here it seems that when using "RAW" I will not be able to print to PDF only via a dos to windows printer emulator like Dosprn which I am trying to avoid. Is that correct ?

I just now sent you another PM.
The RAW option will send the DOS program output as-is to the printer. That was specific to using your labelprinter. Since vDos then doesn’t parse the output, no formatting options like “horz:5,5,100” apply. Only (most) laser printers and off course matrix printers support (RAW) DOS output. Other printer types, like a virtual PDF printer, only accept already formatted pages. Those don't 'understand' DOS text, so you can’t use RAW with those
