Hi,
in DOS and in vDOS 2016.10.01 the following copy command works:
copy Structure\Test.* \test\ednt.*
In the latest version 2020.03.01 it results in a "Copy failure" and 0 copied files.
Test.* can be Test.dbf and Test.cdx and it should result in ednt.dbf and ednt.cdx
Copy is not longer working as it should. Our old FoxPro program crashes at this point and it was hard to find. So I turned back to the old, slower vDOS version.

The vDos COPY command is more limited than that of DOS or 4DOS (used by 2016.10.01). But this construction should be supported, so it is added to the next vDos version. Though the “Structure” directory name won’t do since it’s no SFN name.

BTW, I stated for some time no significant speed progress to expect. The next vDos version CPU will however be 50+% faster executing FoxProX programs than 2020.03.01. Primary to specific code fragment replacement/injection. Non FoxProX programs will only run a few percent faster.

Hi, hi, the too long name came from my translation original it was Struktur\Test.* I thought translating it to english is a good idea but not mentioned the 8.3 rule. So if you modify the copy command, it will work in our application Thank you for your fast reply.
