I get this message when running a batch file using 4dos which has 8 rename statements with wild cards in the statements. It works fine about 2 to 4 times but then the next time it stops after the first rename statement and gives me a message "Windows search handle corrupt". I normally have to restart the computer before trying the program again. Any ideas how to eliminate the problem?
I ran the batch file 15 times in native mode (using cmd.exe and not 4dos) and it ran without problems and no message "corrupt"

No idea how 4DOS would come to “Windows search handle corrupt”. It will know no better than it’s running in MS DOS 5, and no Windows search handles in there.
