I would like to be able to increase memory for executable programs.
Mem gives me 576 conventionnal and my programme 598762 bytes

Mem reports 633 KB of free conventional memory.
The file size of a program also doesn’t exactly reflect the required memory image size. An .EXE will contain reallocation data (that isn't loaded), will need some additional memory, can use overlays instead of loading completely...

Jos on another 32-bit windows 10 computer, I have 632624 largest executable program size and it works.

633 KB = 648,192 byes, so you have more in vDos.

Assuming you use vDos 2021.05.01, do you load any TSR program with autoexec.txt?
