Thanks for the hint!
PDFtk is a grat tool and works perfectly! Pcl6.exe adds to every page a blank page do you know why?

PCL6.exe will expect Letter dimensions in stead of A4. The last 1 or 2 lines of every page won’t fit, so they are printed (though blank) on a new page. See: www.columbia.edu/~em36/ghostpcl.html. Jos

You verified the background PDF is vector based, not some (bitmap based) scanned-in document? The first gives you smaller, high quality PDF’s.
Again in time, you could have a look at AutoIt (https://www.autoitscript.com/site/autoit/) to get a more adequate selection dialog. Or even for instance extract a number/reference from the #lpt1.asc file to archive/store the PDF file in some designated folder with an appropriate name.

Yes I use a PDF file as background, because of the quality and smaller size. Thank you for the hint, but at the moment the batch file suffices.
I have one more question. I redirectet the lpt1 port to a printer in the network and when I execute the "copy #lpt1.asc lpt1" command in the batch file nothing happend. Should I configure something more or do you have any idea?
Thank you very much for the support!

Add a “PAUSE” line after the copy, so the window stays open to reveal the error. The network printer of course has to support PCL for copy /b to work.

Now it works!
Firstly I connected the printer like this.... net use lpt1: \\192.168.178.21\Kyocera nothing happend and the console doesn't tell any error message.
Then I tried to connect the lpt1 through a windows network printer sharing like net use lpt1: \\computername\printername and the printer prints the file!

I forgot: Instead of NET USE and COPY, you can also use RawPrint.exe, also of Edward Mendelson (http://www.columbia.edu/~em36/windowsrawprint.html). That only needs the printer (driver) to be installed on the PC, what would mostly already be so.
