Hi,
I have just installed vDOS and when I try to run it give a error message "vDOS should not run elevated"
System is Windows-7 32 bit.
I tried in other PCs both in 32 bit and 64 bit. there it works fine.
What could be the issue

I have found that on my test PC, Win10 64bit, if VDOS is opened with "Run as administrator" it will throw this error after the Windows popup screen asking if you want to allow this app to make changes. As you need to, replying [Yes] then results in the elevated error you have. Just using Open is always Ok and I'm logged on as Administrator.

So this is the expected behavior of vDos?
By default there's no reason whatsoever vDos should run elevated...

Jos, VDOS doesn't run Elevated. If an attempt is made from WindowsExplorer with a RightClick to <Run As Administrator> instead of using <Open> an Exception error is raised with the message "vDos should not run elevated" and exits back to Windows. It doesn't actually run elevated, which is correct. Have to say VDOS is very good. No problems at all, it reminded me that we all managed very well with eight character.
