I am new here so I might be in the wrong area so mea culpa in advance if that's the case.
We use a database order system (DOS based) (developed in-house circa 1985). We have upgraded to Windows 10 (Previously ALL systems were running Windows XP (Service Pack 3)). With Windows 10 and VDosPlus, we notice very now and then a sluggish performance or the database just hangs for perhaps 30 seconds and then resumes. No more than 5 or 6 people at any given time would be accessing the database simultaneously. Any suggestions on what this lag might be would be greatly appreciated.

This forum is for vDos. vDosPlus is quoted by me as “Depreciated vDos mod. Added support of LFN (Long File Names), IRQ1/INT9 keyboard hook for Visual Basic/QBasic (the IDE), and more (bling)”.
I support only the latest vDos version (now 2021.05.01). Certainly not one of 2015 that also has been bloated.
