Returning to this project to keep using a DOS business application. Had a 2019 version of vDOS running on 32bit Windows7 OS and also had installed same version on a 64bit Windows 7 OS. Both worked very well.
Kept using old version on 32 bit Windows 7 just because I was lazy. It worked great.
Today, I decided that since everything was going so well, I SHOULD install the latest version of vDOS on my 32-bit Window7 to ensure that moving forward with testing, I was using the latest version.
I deleted the vDOS folder and all of its contents and did an install from the latest version I downloaded last week. The test database will not open, either from the shortcut or from clicking on the .exe in the vDOS folder.
I receive the following error message:
vDOS Should Not Run Elevated
I have searched the forum and read the vDOS Read me pdf. I may have missed it but can't find what this means.
Any help is appreciated. I no longer have the "old" version of vDOS to reload.

You can search this forum for “elevated” to find out what’s wrong with your 32 bit Windows 7 system. How to fix that, or as a last resort disable this safeguard of vDos.
