Hi, can anyone help me? In our company we have a really old computer that we use a program to calculate stuffs related to cranes. I moved the folder to my current laptop (windows 11) since I can't bear with it anymore. It's really slow and gives pop-ups every single minute. Currently I'm trying to make it work using vdos but when I enter input values to get a result, it always says path not found.
Here is my autoexec
USE F: C:\vDos SET PATH=F:\calc F: cd F:\calc APPNAME.EXE
@echo OFF EXIT
I copied all the executable files in calc folder. Basically the program works like this - we enter input values in a cmd prompt and hit esc to get the results. But it says path not found (I also got this problem when I tried to open it with winevdm).
I try my best to explain the situation here and I hope you understand since english is not my first language and I have no IT background.

I suppose the “cmd prompt” is some real basic text editor that saves the input to a file. Unclear what emits the “path not found” error. That editor, or the main program trying to read the saved file.
Start vDos with the log option (….vDos.exe /log). Doing a simple test with the program and editor, close the first and have a look at the generated vDos.log file. The missing path should be listed in there.

You got the "path not found" error during this log? Perhaps then not a directory path is meant by the error. Eventually post the program and instruction how to reproduce the error.
