The message is shown when you click vDosSetup.exe?
Eventually post a screenshot of that.

I want to run an old Dos cad program.
Do I install the cad folder/dir inside the vDos folder/dir ?
Thanks

No screenshot, strange that vDos installed later on.
DOS programs are commonly installed off floppy disks. You will want to keep your settings and files, so best to copy the program folder(s) of the old PC to the new one. To the vDos folder would be most direct, though not required.
Mind, vDos only supports basic VGA (640x480). If you want a higher resolution, you have to use DOSBox (or one of its mods).

Screen shot was showing I thought. May have to look at DosBox.
Thanks
