How Do You Setup Serial Ports For BBS Software via Telnet?

Hi, I'm a first time poster.

 I am trying to figure out how I would be able to run a BBS via vDOS, and I need to know how to setup a simple modem port/serial port, and allow folks to connect to the BBS by using a Telnet Client, and so far I'm not seeing much of anything to help me out.

 I have been using DosBox, but it does not support file locking which brought me to vDOS.

 If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

You assign a DOS device in config.txt by:
DOS_device = "Window_device":

For instance:
COM1 = "COM1":

You have to setup the Windows device correctly before vDos is started. Interrupt driven communication isn’t supported, so that could be a dealbreaker for your BBS program.
