Hi: I need to know how I should configure a scheduled task with the windows task scheduler, so that it runs minimized. The task is as follows: program: F:\TAREAS\vDos.exeargument: PROCESOS.BATfolder: F:\TAREASIt's a call to vDos with a parameter F:\TAREAS\vDos.exe PROCESOS.BATIn other words, I use a version of vDos stored in a folder (F:\TAREAS) to run scheduled tasks, and I call it with a parameter (argument) from the task scheduler. Everything works perfect, but at the moment of running as scheduled, it shows the vDos window with the process running, and what I need is that window minimized, so that it does not bother the user of that computer... Thanks! > modelo64

You’re out of luck with that, there is no option to start vDos minimized. You could use some Windows utility to minimize the vDos window, but that is probably no real solution.

The next version will support a minimized window startup.

This works for now if shell and windows api is available
pid = SHELL("VDos.EXE") SLEEP 20 hVDos = FindWindow(BYVAL 0,"VDos") IF hVDos THEN SendMessage(hVDos, %WM_SYSCOMMAND, %SC_MINIMIZE, 0) CloseHandle hVDos ELSE BEEP END IF
