New version fonts rendering not as crisp (fuzzy)

Hello, I upgraded to the latest version of vDos (5-2023) and I noticed that the fonts were noticeably fuzzier (not as crisp) compared to the previous version (5-2022)

Not terrible, but definitely noticeable

The fonts seem to be more Bold, and thicker than before.

All my configs and fonts ae the same for both versions

I am running Accpac Plus Accounting

Any idea why the change in readability??

I made a screenshot of a partial ASCII table and magnified that by a factor 4.

But even then don’t see an increase in weight of fuzziness.

I should have magnified the cutout as-is, duplicating pixels w/o scaling optimization.



But then also no real differences.
