Hello,
I've seen a couple other threads reference this for other Dos programs. We use paradox 4.5 in vDos. I understand by default that ctrl + break will not function in vDos. Is it possible for you to add functionality for ctrl + break for paradox 4.5? We use this often for debugging code in the scripts we run.

Ctrl+Break is mainly used for debugging from inside an IDE, and vDos is intended for end-user programs.
But I made a note to look into this; INT 1Bh called by INT 9 and INT 23h called by DOS.

What is the simplest way to test if Ctrl+Break is working in Paradox?

I'm not sure what you have available for testing paradox. The fastest way we use it is if we are in a menu or submenu, you would hit ctrl+break and then enter on the menu selection you want. That would then break the script immediately at that menu option. We've had others work on our code over the years, and this helps you find where/what they are doing within the code.

There’s a SAMPLE.SC script in the SAMPAPP directory. If I run that and do Ctrl+C or Break at Table - Modify, I get these: So breaking out of the script seems to work. It will be in the next (probably 2024.05.01) version. Jos

That script break with the option to cancel or debug is exactly what it should be doing. Thank you for getting that to work!

One correction: Ctrl+C is not considered as a break combination for a non-DOS (BIOS) function. Instead Ctrl+NumLock is since the Break key is missing on some keyboards.
