I’ve noticed an issue with the implementation of the COPY command.
If you have two files, 1.TXT and 2.TXT, and ‘COPY *.TXT *.NEW’, under real DOS this will create 1.NEW and 2.NEW.
If you try this under vDos you get the following messages: Copy Failure : C:\*.NEW 2.TXT 1 File(s) copied
However no files have been copied.
If you increase the number of files to copy, it seems that some are copied and others are not.
Is it just me, or can others recreate this?

The command line processor of vDos is very basic. This is intentionally, I even once considered to disable its interactive use altogether. vDos is intended to run programs, you shouldn’t be at its command prompt, that’s no substitute for Windows command prompt. If you want more complicated commands (options), use that Windows command line processor. For instance: cmd HIDE/c copy *.txt *.new. Or use the 4DOS command processor.
