I would like to USE a directory whose folder name is greater than 8 chars and contains a space. \\server\abc defghijk\ I have tried enclosing in quotes. I have tried \\server\abcdef~1\ (which works in DOS under NTVDM)
Is there a way to USE this folder?

That would be (for F): USE F: \\server\abcdef~1\ Or: USE F: "\\server\abc defghijk\"

Thank you. I cannot get the ~1 to work, but the "" method works so I am happy.

If ...~1 doesn't work: \\server doesn't generate SFN, or ...~1 is wrong, doesn't match a LFN file/path.
