I'm new to vDos and this is my first attempt to get a DOS program working. I assume the problem has to do with some interlace video setting. I seem to recall in the olden days when using a DOS computer seeing black streaks in the video display. I'm trying to get Printmaster Gold v1.0.8 up and going for my Dad. He has purchased many windows versions of Printmaster over the years but they were too complicated for him. He is 89. Hopefully you will be able to enlarge this image to see there is a menu of options on the upper left corner of the image. I'm using the package vDosPlus--Ed2108.
I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I'm trying to get this to work on a Windows 10 PC (v1909 before going to v2004). I have plenty of RAM memory as can run Windows 7 in Oracle VM VirtualBox.

vDos only supports basic VGA graphic modes. I suppose Printmaster offers some (Menu-Options?) selection of what video card to use. Look for something like a standard VGA card 640x350 or 640x480, 16 or 256 colors, and see if switching to that video card solves the display mess.
If that doesn’t work, install DOSBox, or a mod like DOSBox MegaBuild or DOSBox-X since printing will be a requirement. DOSBox (and mods) supports a wide range of video cards. Perhaps Printmaster can even use one with a better resolution.

Thanks for the response!
There is nothing is the Printmaster OPTIONS menu item except for changing font color and background color. I will try your other suggestions.
Will this forum software send me notices on reply's? And can I subscribe to a thread, or just bookmark it?
Thanks.
