We are using vDos for an MRP program called "InMass". I have attached a picture of a typical menuscreen in the program. The menus can be navigated via the arrow keys, or by selecting the number associated with the menu. Occasionally, we find that certain menu options do not get mapped correctly. For example, hitting the "5" key, sometimes opens the menu associated with "6". This does not happen with every menu, but on the menus this does happen, it happens every time. Any ideas why this would happen? When we use this program natively, this does not happen. Thanks, -Jace Attachments:

That’s plain weird, the “5” key should of course always start what at that moment is associated with that key. Typically the displayed text (menu descriptions) is only there so you can see what will be started. Perhaps your menu system is somehow ‘flexible’, in that “5” doesn’t have an associated action, but reads the screen content, or whatever…
I would need a copy of your program to see what’s going on. Preferably w/o any data, and a guidance how to reproduce this odd behavior consistently.

Thanks for the response. I've spent a bit of time trying to ensure I can reliably reproduce the issue. I've found that it seems to be machine-specific. Rather, I can produce it reliably on one machine, but not another machine. Until I can discern why that is, I'm not sure you'll be able to reproduce it.
However, what would be the best way for me to send you the program for you to test? The program we are using is apparently a set of .exe files. I can tell you how it occurs on the machine that does have this issue, if you wanted to test and see if you are able to reproduce the issue. Thanks, -Jace

You can eventually send the files by wetransfer.com. Though it could be impossible to reproduce that behavior if it is indeed machine-specific…
