Hey Jos,
I tried to Search exact phrase, copy con, to see if there's a how to re doing Copy Con & ^Z or F6 to get ^Z to exit Copy Con etc... to no avail.
Is there handling of those good ole end input commands?
Cheers CNSvDosFan ...

You will be aware that vDos command line processor is rather limited.
I even once considered to disable the command prompt altogether, or default to the EXIT command for each line entry. Simply because no one should have to be at the command prompt. Dropped that idea since for initially figuring out how to start a DOS application a command prompt is handy.
I never had a look at COPY CON, you will be the first to use that, for?

Wow.... Trailblazing... As it happens, I was in a hurry and literally free-typing a quick Script for testing. Used to do it all the time when in a hurry or making up some file to test.... I would use EDIT but Alt F + S etc but couldn't get them to come up and let me save etc I was also hoping to be able to CTRL G for a simple BEL sound too via Copy CON, CTRL G CTRL Z (just like the good ole DOS days).... as the Old timer doesn't pay attention unless something bleeps or something, when something goes wrong.... Am glad you didn't drop the Command Prompt - Is life blood for troubleshooting - for sure... Totally appreciate the help & product. CNSvDosFan

Seems more convenient to use some Windows text editor to write a script or the like.
vDos doesn’t produce sounds. Even for the simple beep you have to provide for a beep.wav file in the vDos directory. Won’t work for COPY CON since characters are not echoed.
