I'm trying to run a DOS program that opens an existing data (text) file, executes the file, then writes output to a text file. When I execute the program I receive a number of errors:
Error: Number -1 while trying to open unit 6 Error: Number 0 while trying to open unit 7 Error: Number 0 while trying to open unit 10 Error: Number 0 while trying to open unit 16 etc.
It seems like there is an issue opening the existing file. Any suggestions? Thank you.

No idea what Error: Number -1 or 0, or “unit” would mean.
Perhaps your program cannot find the data file?
Eventually run vDos with the log option (….vDos.exe /log), and see if the generated vDos.log clarifies anything.

Jos,
Thanks for your response. I tried to create the log file by running vDos.exe /log in a Windows command window, in a vDos window, and by adding /log to a Windows shortcut, but the log file is not created. What do I need to run to create the file?

vDos.log is created in the Windows Current Directory.
For instance using a shortcut, that is the directory of vDos.exe (Target directory). Or, if specified, the Start in directory.
