vDos looks like a great product!
I have a project to upgrade an old WinXP PC with Window 7. The WinXP machine runs a DOS application that communicates over TCPIP to a slave device.
I have looked at DosBox and it looks like it could do TCPIP but it looks to be more for games.
Is/can vDos be configured with TCPIP capabilities (assign a static IP address etc)? I would need it to be able to act the same as a DOS prompt in Windows XP (IP address, ping etc.)
Thanks

vDos doesn’t even emulate a NIC, so DOSBox would be the way to go.
