if there is what is the name of the application and how is the setting in the config.txt

Have a look at the Printing.pdf document of vDos, "Use a third-party program to print".
That will however complicate printing.

if you are looking for free THRID PARTY utility
try WinPrint.EXE (winprint 1.5)
this may help you.

Dear roy Most of the time vDos - building printing system work without any problem then no need to use third party utility
in my case my laptop was not giving me the printout proper with our software then use WinPrint.exe in WinPrint open configuration then you can set your requirement.

by default vDos printer is working but some system do not work properly then free third party is WinPrint.exe is utility will help to get printout with pdf format also.
try this will work
