Hi
I am using a Dos App QA installed on my desktop ( named Comp1) using Windows 7.
File location is d:\qa4 and data is d:\qa4\data
The D drive is mapped as H: and shared on the network.
On my laptop , having Windows 10, I am able to access the network drive which shows as d:\\comp1) (K:)
I have installed VDos on my laptop in Window 10.
The Dos application ALSO iscopied on this laptop as c:\vdos\qa4\.
I need to access the Data located in d drive of comp1 - which shows as d:\\comp1) (K:) on laptop.
How do I set up Vods to access data from the network dr

Add these lines to autoexec.txt at the laptop, assuming Q&A expects drive H:
USE H: K:\ H: CD qa4 qa4.com
Or, better yet:
USE H: \\comp1\d\ …
Probably best, at Comp1 move C:\vDos to D:\vDos:
USE H: ..\ …
Create a shortcut at the laptop to \\comp1\d\vDos\vDos.exe. No need to have vDos or Q&A on the laptop.
