Hello,
We are down sizing from Windows Server to a Win 11 workstation with shared files. The license does not like the new network ID, "SERVER-0683". (Screen shot attached) Is there a work around, or do I need to re-register.
Thank You,

Downsizing to a Windows workstation seems a bad idea. That workstation will be used by someone, and certainly in this situation Windows isn’t optimal at sharing files.
Why not instead use a simple/cheap (SSD) NAS device, 24/7 accessible w/o possible user interference.
You could rename the workstation to the registered Network-ID.
Else no need to reregister, request a change of the Network-ID (jos@vdos.info).
BTW, vDos is now at version 2023.05.01.

We now have a Qnap NAS device. However, the operating system will not accept a period in the name. Our current registration network ID is "BOERNER.Local". I set the Qnap name to "BOERNER", but I could change that.

The Qnap won’t be setup as a domain server. And no real need for that.
I can send you a new license file for "BOERNER".
